Hey, it’s Chlo!

I fell in love with photography when I was young. I remember taking my first camera on a trip to Colorado but never dreamed it would be something I could turn into a career.

For me, photography is a way to give back. So much of the world is full of people needing something from someone else. To be able to give the gift of telling other people’s stories is an absolute privilege.

I’m particularly drawn to capturing the ordinary. I love the in between pieces that create a moment. I want to capture the main story line but also the details you wouldn’t remember other wise.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me hanging with my husband, doing something musical, or making something in my kitchen.

  • Some of my favorite places have been Washington DC, Athens Greece, Redwood National Park, and Vancouver Canada. Next on my bucket list would have to be Maine, Italy, or Santorini.

  • Dogs and horses are my favorite, but basically any animal is automatically my friend. When I was a kid, I did wildlife rehabilitation. At our session, ask me about the squirrels...

  • True story. Our love story is long and beautiful and I love to tell it. Short version: Met in May 2021. Dating by July 2021. Engaged in Yosemite in November 2021. Married June 2022! You can ask me for the long version at our session if you're curious.

  • Like most creatives, I spent my fair share of time as a barista. My go to drink is a latte or a cappuccino with whole milk. One day I hope to open my own coffee shop!
